Bridge Club of Madison
2818 Todd Drive
Madison WI 53713-2916
The Bridge Club of Madison offers multiple opportunities to play bridge every week. This includes games that are open to players of all levels, as well as games that are restricted to new and/or intermediate level players. See "Schedule" for details.
No membership fee is required to play in any of these games. A nominal table fee of $6.00 is charged for each playing session.
One of the Bridge Club's regular weekly sessions is devoted to Rubber Bridge (also called Social Bridge or Party Bridge). Most games offered at the Club, however, are devoted to Duplicate Bridge.
Contrary to the impression that some players have, Duplicate Bridge is NOT a different game. It is the same game as Rubber Bridge, but played in a multiple table format that involves an altered scoring system.
Madison Bridge Club offers a FREE & very low key Duplicate Bridge Workshop on the first Friday of every month. The goal of this workshop is to proactively demystify the game for players who unfamiliar with Duplicate Bridge & possibly even apprehensive about giving it a try. See "Lessons" for details.
The Bridge Club of Madison also provides a wide variety of other Workshops & Instructional Activities on a continuing basis. The cost of these activities varies. See "Lessons" for details.
Members competing in Duplicate Bridge games are eligible for ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) masterpoint awards.
